VTXFLOW manufactures gate valves in full compliance with API 6D — the standard covering pipeline ball, gate and check valves, from 2" – 60" in ASME 150 – 2500.

API 6D is the pipeline industry's specification — it adds operational requirements (DBB, cavity relief, emergency sealant injection, drain and vent taps) on top of basic valve design standards. Transmission pipeline purchasers specify API 6D monogram-level construction as a baseline.

Our API 6D production is backed by in-house casting and forging, CNC machining, and 100% pressure and seat-tightness testing to API 598, with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates and optional third-party inspection (SGS / BV) on every order.
