ASTM A216 WCB · -29°C to +425°C · 3/4" – 12" inlet (DN20 – DN300)
VTXFLOW manufactures safety valves in ASTM A216 WCB — a general-purpose cast carbon steel — strong, weldable and economical. With a working range of -29°C to +425°C, WCB bodies suit water & steam systems and oil & gas pipelines across Class 150 to 2500 service.
WCB is the default body material of industrial piping: it offers the best cost-to-strength ratio for any non-corrosive service below 425°C. Roughly seven of every ten valves we export ship in WCB. For temperatures below -29°C step to LCB; for corrosive media step to CF8M.
Every WCB safety valve is cast or forged in-house, machined on CNC centers and 100% shell and seat tested to API 598 / ISO 5208 before shipment, with EN 10204 3.1 material certificates traceable to the heat. PMI verification is available on request for stainless and alloy grades.
